Before taking the doctoral thesis defense exam the doctoral students have at least 1 accepted/published article (scanned in journals within the scope of Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index, Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Education Resources Information Center, Science Citation Index Expanded, other international field indexes, national refereed journals in ULAKBİM database) and have at least 1 poster or oral presentation published papers at National or International Congress and Symposium.

The articles should be It is obligatory to make these publications themself or with their advisor, to be the first or second author and to make it after the doctoral registration date.

The publication of the master's thesis cannot be evaluated in this context.

These publication conditions come into force from the academic year of 2016-2017.
